Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (or "SLT") is a type of laser treatment for glaucoma or for those with raised eye pressure. Typically, SLT lowers eye pressure by 25% at about 5 years. Results can vary, individual responses can be more or less than this, which is important to understand. This infact also applies to all forms of glaucoma treatment such as surgery or drops. For more information about SLT treatment in the UK, please contact Mr Galloway via the contacts page. |
