Indications:

  • Open angle glaucoma
  • Intraocular pressure below 30 mmHg
  • First line and repeat treatment
  • Poor compliance with medication eg with side effects
  • Allergy to glaucoma drop medication
  • To come off some eye drop medication

Contra-Indications:

  • Closed angle glaucoma
  • Non response to initial SLT treatment
