It usually takes about a day or two for the eye to feel more normal - in the first few days is is not uncommon for the eye to ache slightly, but discomfort is minimal, and many patients do not experience any discomfort. It is important not to drive home after the procedure, as vision may be blurred for a period, although no dilating drops are required to perform the laser.
